The Peale, Baltimore’s Community Museum, invites visual artists to apply for Built to Last: A Juried Exhibition Celebrating Baltimore’s Enduring Landmarks. This exhibition will feature newly created two-dimensional artworks inspired by ten historic and architecturally significant sites across the city.

Eligibility

Open to artists aged 18+ in Baltimore and surrounding counties

Two-dimensional media only: painting, photography, illustration, collage, printmaking, and mixed media
-
Work must be original, created within the last 3 years, and not previously exhibited at The Peale

Jury
Submissions will be reviewed digitally by a panel of curators from leading Baltimore museums, including representatives from the Walters Art Museum, Maryland Center for History and Culture, Reginald F. Lewis Museum, Morgan State University, and the City of Baltimore.
