The successful candidate is expected to work closely with curators, registrars, and conservators to help identify collection care needs for the works, conduct conservation treatment to stabilize the silhouettes and bindings, perform rapid capture photography, and complete cataloging and inventory of a large group of 19th century silhouettes.

The Lyric Baltimore’s Education team is searching for innovative, excited, and dedicated artists to provide exceptional in-school arts programming for our Horizons Theater Program. These workshops provide mostly middle school students with training in theater and creative writing. Our goal is to support students’ imagination and creative agency. Using fun, engaging exercises, students learn the necessary skills to present theatrical performances to their family and friends. These weekly workshops culminate in students performing their original writing.  Each workshop site performs two shows—a holiday performance in December and a full-length production in spring. Workshops at schools run from October to December and January to March.
