The countdown is on! If you are an artist, there are just three days left to add your work to the Baker Artists Portfolio site. The site closes on Friday, at 5PM!
That said, there is no deadline for viewing the work of hundreds of artists on the site. If you are a collector, curator, connoisseur, or just curious, the site has a wealth of performers, painters, and geniuses in print—all in one place. It’s a great way to get a sense of the range and quality of the region’s artists.
Whether it is by volunteering, worshipping, contemplating, or learning, I hope you will join GBCA in honoring the memory and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 18.

P.S. Don’t forget, tomorrow night, January 13th , is the next Citizen Artist Listening Session, taking place at the Baltimore American Indian Center. These public listening sessions are designed to identify priority issues within Baltimore and advance these issues to 2016 mayoral candidates for comment. Come and bring your list of concerns!
