Bethesda Painting Awards

Local artists have until Friday, February 23, 2018 to submit their work for a chance to win up to $10,000 and have their work showcased at Gallery B in June 2018. Additional prizes include $2,000 for second place, $1,000 for third place and $1,000 for our Young Artist (under 30 years old).

This year’s jury includes:

Sally Bowring – Professor of Painting, Director of Administration for the Painting & Printmaking Department, Virginia Commonwealth University

Laura Roulet – Independent Curator and Writer

Bill Schmidt – Artist, Winner of the 2016 Baker Artist Awards and the 2015 Bethesda Painting Awards
