GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR YOUTH-LED COMMUNITY ORGANIZING PROJECTS

YOUTH AS RESOURCES (YAR),BALTIMORE’S YOUTH-LED GRANT MAKING ORGANIZATION, HAS FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR COMMUNTY ORGANIZING PROJECTS THAT ARE CREATED AND CONTROLLED BY YOUTH (up to 24 years old)*.

YAR considers youth-led efforts that address issues we have identified as important to us including BUT NOT LIMITED TO: school climate, knowledge-based youth employment, police accountability and policies, youth empowerment and community control.

Grants range from $500 - $3,500. Applicants are required to attend one of the two workshops and must be represented by one or two youth and no more than one optional adult.

Youth As Resources is offering Grant seeker workshops on:

Saturday, October 22nd at 10:30 a.m. & Tuesday, October 25that 5:30 p.m.

Application deadline is on Friday, November 18th by 5:00 p.m.

Registration is required and workshops may fill up.
