Request for Proposals: 2014 Impact Program

Maryland Art Place (MAP) is pleased to present two requests for proposals through its 2014 IMPACT Program. IMPACT is an annual, public art program developed to extend Maryland Art Place’s reach to broader audiences. Each IMPACT project is unique and developed based on the partnering site. Current project sites include Towson Town Center in Baltimore County and Center Plaza in downtown Baltimore City. Artists are strongly encouraged to visit both sites prior to submission. The proposed work(s) must be able to withstand the weather elements and may not block any of the sidewalks, walkways or security measures in place at either site. The selected artist/artist team will receive a $500 stipend to cover needed materials to complete the project. Individual artists and/or artist teams will also receive promotional support from MAP and the partnering site through this opportunity. Please visit MAP’s site for more information, view images of the sites and to download full applications.

Application Deadline: Saturday, July 19, 2014 by 5pm.
