Baltimore Rock Opera Society seeks Designer/Production Team Members for Why Not To Build A Computer That Loves

Why Not to Build a Computer That Loves is a sci-fi odyssey tragicomedy following a love-sick robot as they learn the true meaning of life... and accidentally destroy the universe along the way. Baltimore Rock Opera seeks multiple production positions for the show.

Production will begin Late January/Early February and the show will run Late May to Early June.

Maryland Art Place seeks Fall Intern

MAP offers internships for upper-level college students, graduate students, and recent graduates. Fall, Spring, and Summer Internships are available. MAP hours: 11 am-4 pm, Monday - Saturday.

Interns are responsible for assisting MAP in a variety of ways, ranging from programming to administration, with opportunities for special projects depending on skills and professional interest. Intern duties include: performing research; assisting with gallery preparation and installation; photo/video documentation, coordinating events, gallery sitting, social media and community outreach.

Voxel Theater seeks Venue Manager

Venue Summary

The Voxel is a new, multi-use blackbox theater in Baltimore Maryland. It is owned and operated by Figure 53, the makers of the show control software QLab. It was built to host artist residencies, classes, and as a laboratory for software research and development.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently employed in the Graphic Artist I civil service classification;

AND

Have at least 2 years of consecutive service in the Gaphic Artist I civil service classification.

BYA Seeking Digital Design Facilitator

Position is temporary, 2hrs/week for 10 weeks @ $20/hour.

We are seeking facilitators for visual, writing, and performance classes at one or more of our four teaching sites (the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center, The BYA Community Studio, Thomas JS Waxter Children's Center, and the Lillian S. Jones Recreation Center). We are interested in building our community of artists to expand program offerings and engage youth with varied interests.
