Executive Director's Letter - 11/21/23

The Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance (GBCA) is excited to announce a spectacular, new partnership. PNC Bank has signed on as the presenting sponsor of Culture Fly calendar, GBCA’s region-wide and comprehensive listing of current events in Baltimore City and its five surrounding counties.

GBCA is deeply grateful for PNC Bank’s generous support. The region’s creative sector relies on Culture Fly, especially as the cultural community rebuilds audiences following the pandemic. PNC Bank’s sponsorship ensures that GBCA can proudly promote the Baltimore region’s hard-working artists and cultural organizations, and inform the public about all the amazing activities happening in our area.

Through GBCA’s associated Culture Flyer weekly email program, the over 120 organizations and individuals that make up GBCA’s membership offer free and half-priced tickets to Culture Fly subscribers. Want to learn more about cultural events happening in our region? Be sure to visit www.CultureFly.org and subscribe for special discounts. Have events that you want to promote? You can go directly to www.CultureFly.org and post them for free!

“The arts and culture are an essential component of our community. They bring us together, strengthen our quality of life and serve as a significant economic engine for our region,” said Laura Gamble, PNC Regional President for Greater Maryland. “As a national Main Street Bank committed to investing in our communities, supporting the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance simply makes sense and there is no better platform than Culture Fly to promote the wonderful range of arts and culture programs available to us seemingly every day.”

Our sincerest thanks to PNC Bank for their many investments in our community and for their commitment to supporting and promoting arts and culture in Baltimore.

All my best,

Jeannie

P.S. GBCA is so sorry to hear about the passing of Meb Turner. As you can read in the article from Meb’s retirement as the President of the University of Baltimore.
