Executive Director Letter 12/21/21

As I reflect back on 2021 in all its highs and lows, I am filled with gratitude for the many people who have made our work possible. GBCA is blessed with a stellar Board of Directors, which has been led in 2021 by the Dean of Peabody at Johns Hopkins University, Fred Bronstein. Dr. Bronstein’s steady hand and deep thinking have been critical to me and GBCA as we have navigated the pandemic. Who could have imagined running a world renowned conservatory and shepherding GBCA while dealing with a global health crisis. Thank you, Fred.

Whether they are emerging or established, mainstream or underground, grassroots or institutional, GBCA believes in unifying and strengthening all members of Baltimore’s creative community. GBCA’s members represent that range and are among the leading organizations in the region. Each and every one of them are integral to the GBCA team.

The Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance is also grateful for its supporters and partners. While to extensive to list, we send particular thanks to:

All my best,
