There is nothing more important in the next week than casting your vote! Early voting is underway up to the General Election on November 3. I’ll be headed down to the Community College of Baltimore City on Liberty Heights Avenue today to drop off my ballot. Do you have a plan? If you plan to mail your voted ballot, do it today! Although ballots envelopes postmarked on or before November 3, 2020 will be accepted, they MUST be received by your local board of elections by 10 am on November 13, 2020. You can find information and resources, including the location of drop off boxes, on the Maryland Board of Elections website.
If you are interested in volunteering to cheer on voters, Baltimore Votes has launched a fun program for Early Voting and Election Day called "Adopt a Vote Center!" It's all about providing a positive energy and environment at the polling sites and vote centers in a safe and socially distant way. They provide volunteers with the voting swag, voting materials, and good cheer! Go to https://www.baltimorevotes.org/adopt to learn more and sign on as a volunteer.
