Executive Director’s Letter November 19, 2019

It’s holiday celebration time! Mark your calendar for Monday, December 16 and join us to celebrate the many contributions of the arts and humanities community in Baltimore. As is our tradition, the party with beer, wine, and light refreshments will take place in the offices of the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance on the third floor of the Motor House. The event is always a hit so get your tickets soon!

Also coming up is #GivingTuesday! After you “celebrate” Black Friday and get some shopping done, take a minute and make a contribution to GBCA to support Urban Arts Leadership the following Tuesday, December 2. The impact of your gift will be doubled, as it will help meet a challenge $20,000 grant from the National Endowment of the Arts. AND you don’t even need to wait. You can make a contribution to the campaign starting today. UAL works with aspiring leaders of color and area cultural organizations to build greater equity in the cultural workforce. Make a secure donation here and put a little good back into the world.
