Discovering the 3rd Annual CM.BALL

By Luca Mochi

On Saturday August 31st I had the opportunity to attend the 3rd Annual CM.BALL. CM.POPS is a new local artisan dessert business that specializes in unique popsicles and they throw a giant event every year. This time, the ball was held at the Bambou Venue and featured twelve hours of live music, DJ's, video games, craft vendors, secret adventures, visual artists, fire spinners, food, and of course an amazingly positive crowd. This was much more than a party or concert, it was a community-based arts project highlighting amazing creatives in the region. The founding principles of the CM.BALL are; D.I.Y, Environmental Responsibility, Inclusion, Participation, and Supporting Local Business. With these principles in play, the ball had a remarkable energy of support and celebration!

Performances by:

Ayymello / Baby Kahlo / Dre Thompson / Ducky Dynamo / Emellodee / En'b / Genie / Hunter Hoolign / Kotic Couture / Mack Scott / Pearl / Strange Attractor / The Abbitt / Trillnatured / Twin Jude / Vaudevillian
