Executive Director’s Letter September 4, 2018

It’s September and time to get back into your routines with school, work, and play. Since you’ll be longing for the weekends, you’ll want to have the most up-to-date and affordable access to great events around Baltimore. Speaking of free events, this weekend, you won’t want to miss the Fourth Annual Little Italy Baltimore Madonnari Arts Festival. This outdoor festival will be held September 7-10 and includes street chalk paintings, outdoor acoustic music and street performers and al fresco dining. South High Street will be the site on which 50 artists, including those from Baltimore, Italy, Mexico, California, Florida, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, West Virginia, Utah and the Maryland Eastern Shore. They will paint the street with exquisite classical and contemporary 3D street paintings made of chalk and chalk tempera.
