Overlea Artsfest - Deadline Extended - Call for Artists

Overlea ArtsFest – Call for Artists and Vendors!

The Overlea Community Association (OCA) presents the 1st Annual Overlea ArtsFest! The event takes place on Saturday, June 4th, 2016 from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Natural History Society exhibition hall and grounds, located at 6908 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD 21206. The ArtsFest will benefit “Nature Connections,” a hands-on nature exploration program for kids and families.

The event will feature a Juried Show and an Art Market with 2-D and 3-D art of all mediums, including fiber art and photography, as well as musicians, spoken word artists, filmmakers, dancers and performance artists.

The Overlea ArtsFest will be extensively promoted through TV commercials, print ads, internet and social media posts, community newsletters, and widespread distribution of physical and electronic flyers.

The OCA is seeking local Baltimore artists to submit their work for the juried show, as well as art vendors to show and sell their work to the public, and performers to entertain the attendees. Visual artists can submit for the Juried Show, for the Art Market or for both. Prizes and certificates will be awarded to the Best in Show winner for each Juried Show category.
