Make a Commitment to Becoming More Involved in the Political Process

Executive Director's Letter
January 5, 2016

Happy New Year!

The Rubys Artists grants program is going on the road to encourage artists in Carroll, Howard, Anne Arundel, Harford and Baltimore counties to apply. Does that mean you? Program Manager, Sonja Cendak will present the first Rubys grant information session of 2016 next Tuesday, January 12 at 6pm in Harford County, Bel Air Branch Library (100 East Pennsylvania Ave, Bel Air 21014). Join Sonja at 6:00pm for this free session to learn more about applying for a Rubys grant and to strengthen your overall application skills. Keep an eye out for an upcoming session on January 28th in Annapolis. More details to follow.

Still adding to your New Year’s resolutions? Make a commitment now to becoming more involved in the political process. This is a moment of great opportunity to engage with candidates in Baltimore City and to ensure that the City’s next Mayor and City Council include the cultural sector in their policies and strategies for strengthening the city. Tonight at 6:30pm at the Windup Space is the first Citizen Artist listening session, but not your only chance to join the conversation. Upcoming events include:
