The New Day Campaign

An arts-based initiative to challenge stigma associated with behavioral health conditions, making the world a more healing place.

Free information Session

Thursday, March 19, 6:15-7:30pm

Peter Bruun and Bruun Studios presents the New Day Campaign, an arts-based initiative to challenge stigma associated with behavioral health conditions, making the world a more healing place. The undertaking offers opportunities for artists, writers, performers, art workshops, and arts and cultural organizations to get involved. A New Day Campaign information session will be held Thursday, March 19, 6:15-7:30pm at the office of Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts, 10 East Baltimore, Street, Baltimore, MD 21224.

At the session, you will learn how:

  • Artists, performers, & writers may submit proposals about behavioral health stories that humanize, build compassion, and generate understanding.
  • Art workshop leaders & teachers can do projects around New Day Campaign themes, submitting the results to be considered for exhibitions and/or public programs.
  • Art & Culture organizations can do their own New Day Campaign related programs and activities and be promoted as “affiliates” of the New Day Campaign, gaining greater market exposure and becoming part of a larger movement.

Street parking around 10 East Baltimore Street becomes plentiful at 6pm, and there are numerous parking garages within blocks of the office. To RSVP (preferred but not required) and for any questions, contact Peter at [email protected]. To learn more about the campaign, visit www.newdaycampaign.org.
