Summary:
Responsible for assisting the Associate VP of Public Affairs in public affairs and in managing development, programs and operations support for the Visit Baltimore Education and Training Foundation. Activities to include outreach, programs, events and meetings; and support and advocacy efforts. We’re looking for candidates with a positive, team-oriented mindset, with the proven ability to thrive in a matrixed organization that fosters a fast-paced, results-based work environment.

The Support Specialist supports and reports to the Director of Operations. The position also supports the work of the Financial Officer, the Grants and Operations Officer, and the Director of External Affairs, as well as performing certain general administrative functions for the Foundation.

BmoreArt is seeking a full-time Managing Editor to join our team in Baltimore, MD.

BmoreArt is a Baltimore-based print magazine and webzine that celebrates, questions, and critiques art and culture. It started out as a community-based blog in 2007 and evolved into a professional webzine in 2014 and biannual print journal in 2015. BmoreArt works with a diverse team of writers, art historians, artists, photographers, and designers to create a multifaceted and authentic vision of Baltimore as a place for creativity and community, but also serves as a constructive critic.

Events Planner

I. CLASS DEFINITION

The Events Planner is responsible for office management as well as the planning and implementation of all Donor Recognition Events and Major Donor Cultivation Events. This position will also be involved in gift processing and providing support to the development office by coordinating trustee development based meetings.
