BSF Seeks Actors for 2018-19 Education Tour

The Baltimore Shakespeare Factory is pleased to announce auditions for our 2018/19 educational shows, Shakespeare’s Macbeth and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The shows are shortened and arranged for three actors to rehearse and perform in rep.

Auditions will be held Monday September 24th and Thursday September 27th from 5pm-8pm.

No teaching experience is necessary. Familiarity with classical texts is preferred. Access to reliable transportation and daytime availability are required.

Look for the sign on the building marking the correct entrance. If you park in the lot, please do not park in a numbered spot as your vehicle may be towed. Free parking is also available on Roland Avenue.

Job Submission Requirements:
Please prepare 16-20 lines of verse. After your monologue, you will be asked to work collaboratively with a group of actors to produce a scene. Dress to move and come prepared to play! Actor pay is $170/performance. The rehearsal commitment is a total of four rehearsals, two for each show, and will be scheduled pending actor availability.   Please email [email protected] with your preferred day and time slot. Please bring 1 copy of your headshot/resume to your audition.
