Organizational Overview
Since 1984, Ruscombe Community has been a pioneer in providing individual and family holistic healing options. We have a rich history as the oldest and largest center of its kind on the East Coast to provide direct wellness services, educational programming and celebratory events. To further and sustain its longstanding mission, The Ruscombe Community, Inc. non-profit was established in 2023 with an expansion of community wellness and educational programming, as well as preservation of the historic Ruscombe Mansion in the Coldspring Newtown area of Baltimore, Maryland.
Responsibilities
The Assistant Office Manager at Ruscombe Community will provide administrative support to the Office Manager and Executive Director.
General administrative duties including membership communications, scheduling meetings, event registration and staffing, managing mailings, lists and schedules, grant writing and related research, distributing fliers, preparing reports and press releases, review of leasing documents, invoicing, recordkeeping and maintaining appropriate filing systems.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively with practitioners, community members and Board leaders, donors, trustees, and volunteers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with software programs including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Google apps. Prior experience in bookkeeping and Quick Books Online a plus. Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat and InDesign a plus.
• Familiarity and comfort with grants management software, customer relationship management systems, or similar information technology a plus.
