The Peale is seeking an Exhibitions and Programs Assistant

Exhibitions and Programs Assistant: The Peale seeks a creative self-starter with administrative experience to fill the part-time permanent position of Exhibitions & Events Program Assistant; experience in accessibility policy and services or arts administration is not required, but desirable. This individual will report to the Chief Operations Officer and will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the coordination and production of exhibitions and special events.

Maryland Art Place seeks Fall Intern

MAP offers internships for upper-level college students, graduate students, and recent graduates. Fall, Spring, and Summer Internships are available. MAP hours: 11 am-4 pm, Monday - Saturday.

Interns are responsible for assisting MAP in a variety of ways, ranging from programming to administration, with opportunities for special projects depending on skills and professional interest. Intern duties include: performing research; assisting with gallery preparation and installation; photo/video documentation, coordinating events, gallery sitting, social media and community outreach.

CAC AmeriCorps at MICA now accepting applications for 2019-20

The Community Art Collaborative (CAC) AmeriCorp program at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) was created in 2004. Since 2004, about 130 CAC members have worked with 40 different host sites. Their service expands the ability of their host sites to reach more Baltimore residents and engages thousands of neighbors in community art projects. In particular, CAC helps youth participants achieve in school by fostering creativity and critical thinking.
