BYA Seeks Facilitators for Winter and Spring Sessions

BYA is currently hiring for Winter, and Spring quarters. We are seeking facilitators for visual, writing, and performance classes at one or more of our four teaching sites (the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center, The BYA Community Studio, Thomas JS Waxter Children's Center, and the Lillian S. Jones Recreation Center). We are interested in building our community of artists to expand program offerings and engage youth with varied interests.

CCBC seeks Visual Arts Coordinator

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and two years' experience working in academia, or a community education setting. Master's degree preferred.

Ability to design, develop and implement community education programs, and manage execution in multiple locations. Ability to accurately forecast and track unit revenue and expenses. Experience in program budget management, and skilled at managing program expenses efficiently. Knowledge and experience with educational programs in a community or educational setting, preferably in the visual arts.

Baltimore Youth Arts (BYA) is an artist-educator run, after school program that provides arts and job readiness programming to youth, with a focus on those involved in the juvenile justice system. Our mission is to assist young people in gaining the creative, personal, and educational skills that will enable them to become leaders in their communities. BYA uses the arts to engage youth with the goal of building long-lasting, mentoring relationships. We believe that the arts are a path towards social, emotional, and educational development.

30 hours/week

$22/hour

Baltimore Youth Arts Seeks Visual Arts Instructor - Rockville

Baltimore Youth Arts is hiring for a VISUAL ARTS instructor to facilitate an 8 week program at the Alfred D Noyes Children's Center in Rockville, MD. Classes will take place on Fridays from 5pm-7pm starting on March 5.

The Alfred D. Noyes Children's Center is a co-ed facility that houses detained young men and woman.

Concepts by Cash seeks Art Teachers & Assistants

Concepts By Cash, Arts Management Division is seeking several experienced art teachers to work with elementary school age students in after schools programs in Baltimore City. Teachers should have experience doing both 2 and 3 dimensional artwork with this age group and have great classroom management skills. Classes are held two - four days a week depending on location and begin late October 2015.
