Handel Choir of Baltimore Community Chorister Auditions

Handel Choir of Baltimore seeks community chorister for all voice parts to audition for its 2019-2020 season. Auditions will be held May 24 from 7-10 pm and May 25 from 10 am-3 pm at the Church of the Holy Comforter, 130 W. Seminary Avenue, Lutherville, MD 21093.

In addition to our yearly period instrument performance of "Messiah", our repertoire will include "Rachmaninoff Vespers" and "Song of the Birds." Concert dates and other season details at www.handelchoir.org.

CAC AmeriCorps at MICA now accepting applications for 2019-20

The Community Art Collaborative (CAC) AmeriCorp program at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) was created in 2004. Since 2004, about 130 CAC members have worked with 40 different host sites. Their service expands the ability of their host sites to reach more Baltimore residents and engages thousands of neighbors in community art projects. In particular, CAC helps youth participants achieve in school by fostering creativity and critical thinking.
