Creative Kids is currently hiring part-time teaching artists/teachers for the Fall semester of the 2015-16 academic school year. Creative Kids is a literature-based, after school drama program that runs classes in various schools throughout DC, Baltimore, suburban MD, and Northern Virginia. Students range from 3-15 years old.

The Baltimore Office of Promotion and The Arts (BOPA) is a non-profit arts and events organization charged with making Baltimore a more creative and vibrant city. The organization’s programs include city-wide special events and festivals (Artscape, Baltimore Book Festival, parades, fireworks) as well as management of historic sites and cultural facilities (School 33 Art Center, Top of the World Observation Level, Bromo Seltzer Tower, The Cloisters).

The Arts Integration and Professional Development Specialist partners with artists, teachers and community organizations to meet their needs for arts integrated programming and professional development services. The BCO is currently accepting applications for Production Interns for Fall of 2014. The interns will work closely with BCO Operations Manager and Executive Director to produce concerts and related musical/educational programs. Ideal candidates will have a desire to learn about new orchestra music, concert production, and an interest in the performing arts.

The Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, led by Artistic Director Markand Thakar, is the premier chamber orchestra in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Baltimore Chamber Orchestra High-School Internship Program is designed to engage high school students who have an interest in pursuing non-profit or orchestral studies at a college or professional level. The internships are open to juniors or seniors who live or attend school in Baltimore City (where the BCO is headquartered) or Baltimore County (where the BCO performs).

The Baltimore Heritage Area Association serves as the management entity for the Baltimore National Heritage Area (BNHA). The heritage area is both federally designated as a heritage area as well as certified by the State of Maryland. Grants administration is a key aspect of the heritage area. The heritage area administers a local (City of Baltimore) small capital grant program, serves as a coordinating partner for the state’s Maryland Heritage Areas Authority Project Grants, and receives a significant amount of funding through grants as well for heritage area programs and operations.
