The Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance (GBCA) nurtures and promotes a vibrant, diverse, and sustainable arts and cultural community, essential to the region’s quality of life. GBCA supports the needs of more than 400 members from the Baltimore region (Baltimore City and the five surrounding counties) including arts, culture, history, and heritage organizations, as well as individual artists. GBCA requires a strong infrastructure to steward its members and to manage programs and initiatives.

Position Overview

Financial Manager

Joe’s Movement Emporium/World Arts Focus seeks a Financial Manager to lead the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis, as well as financial management of earned revenue, grant contracts and strategic initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and two years' experience working in academia, or a community education setting. Master's degree preferred.

Ability to design, develop and implement community education programs, and manage execution in multiple locations. Ability to accurately forecast and track unit revenue and expenses. Experience in program budget management, and skilled at managing program expenses efficiently. Knowledge and experience with educational programs in a community or educational setting, preferably in the visual arts.
