This glorious season finale will mark the end of Maestro Dimmock’s 38- year tenure as the Founding Music Director of Bach in Baltimore. he will continue to be involved with the choir and orchestra, conducting two concerts next season.
The works chosen for this concert are all among the Maestro’s favorites. It is a majestic celebration of sacred masterworks, bringing together the towering legacies of Bach, Handel, and Fauré—a sweeping, musical tapestry that honors the divine in its many forms. it also featuresour new, Taylor and Boody continuo organ in selected pieces.
St. David's Baltimore commemorates Pride Month with a Recital and Evensong celebrating music of Queer composers and Queer experiences, beginning with a recital by baritone Rahzé Sinclair at 4:30 pm, followed by the Service of Evensong, featuring Sinclair's Preces & Responses and Benjamin Britten's "Hymn to St. Cecilia."
The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 4:00 pm. A suggested donation of $10-$20 directly benefits the musicians and the music series.

For nearly a century, Globe Poster Printing Corporation—once one of the nation’s largest showcard printers—has chronicled American music and entertainment through bold, iconic posters. This exhibition highlights the powerful visual legacy of Black American music and its deep connections to cultural expression and civil rights.
Opening for Towson University's month-long Summer at The Center Festival is Vital Beauty. The artists featured in Vital Beauty explore what it means to be in—or from—America, and how this place—its land, communities, and histories—imprints itself on the body.
In honor of Junteenth, Gantt and Duggan reflect on collaboration, personal power, platform-building, and the responsibility artists carry within systems that shape public life. Their conversation will explore the long history of Black people making art, both as a means of survival and institution building, and how film, visual art, and theater can activate philanthropy, accountability, and community power.

Forbidden love, mistaken identities, banishment, and a magic potion—The Tale of Cymbeline follows Princess Imogen of Britain on a quest for reconciled love. Experience it outdoors at Patapsco Female Institute in Historic Ellicott City, where audiences can bring a picnic and wine, gather under the stars, and enjoy one of Maryland’s favorite summer theatre traditions.
Performances run June 12–July 19, and kids under 18 get in FREE with a paying adult.
