In each of the four acts, the play is adapted in a different manner--from classic realism, to saturnine experimentation, to exuberant musical theatre. This is a new perspective—or four new perspectives—on Chekhov and his work.

Welcome to the rhythmic world of African drumming! In this vibrant and dynamic class, we will embark on a rhythmic journey that traces its roots deep into the heart of African culture and tradition. From the bustling markets of West Africa to the ceremonial gatherings of East Africa, the beat of the drum has been an integral part of daily life, communication, and celebration for centuries.

To honor a century of service and driving positive change across Greater Baltimore, United Way of Central Maryland will host a Centennial Benefit Concert featuring multi-award-winning artist Common; legendary dance-music vocalist CeCe Peniston; and local artists Elyscia Jefferson of The Voice, Whiskey Feathers, and the Baltimore City College Choir.

THE TRANSFIGURATION INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is a film festival showcasing an eclectic variety of short films. Founded by Jonni Peppers. The Baltimore screenings (Oct 14th & 15th) of The Transfiguration International Film Festival is hosted by Animation Love Affair.

Each night of screening ticketed separately. No one turned away for lack of funds. Any proceeds made from tickets will go toward paying screening artists!

What is it?

Join us every Wednesday of December for singing and fun at the Catonsville Clubhouse.

A song circle is a friendly jam session on acoustic instruments only. Hand drums are okay. Songs can include originals or favorite covers. We'll take turns around the circle. If it's your turn, you can do your song solo or you may request accompaniment. You may invite the whole group to join in, or you may invite specific individuals (you may have worked out an arrangement). The important thing is that you choose how to put your music across.

On October 16th, Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts is celebrating our 40th birthday with a book launch and party that is all about the artists, volunteers, and partners that make us who we are today!
