An enticing selection of art songs spans familiar and overlooked repertoire from myriad styles, all rooted in great literature with settings of Walt Whitman, Shakespeare, Langston Hughes, and Strauss’s opulent Four Last Songs with texts by Hermann Hesse. South African soprano Golda Schultz, who has starred at the Opéra National de Paris, Metropolitan Opera, and BBC Proms, brings this program to life with her “remarkable depth and dimension” and “distinctively thrilling radiance” (Financial Times).

Collage Senior Seminar Final Concert

Collage — An evening of original dance works created and performed by the Dance Major Senior Seminar Class of 2026. From bold movement to heartfelt stories, each piece weaves together diverse styles and emotions into one unforgettable performance.

This student-choreographed and performed concert is part of the senior capstone class. Movement styles are diverse and creative with students applying the many techniques studied at TU.

Professor Joseph Gotoff presents a program of works for cello and piano by Vitezslava Kapralovaa, Dora Pejacevic, Shinuh Lee, and other female composers. Dr. Gotoff will be joined by guest artist Dr. Wan-chi Su.

Join Marissa Paternoster (of Screaming Females) in her project NOUN and Dublin-born Ailbhe Reddy in a night of live music at Le Mondo.

Thirsty Thursdays at the Opera is Opera Baltimore’s signature performance and beverage tasting series, blending live music with expertly curated drink pairings. Set in the historic and glamorous Engineers Club, each evening offers a unique opportunity to enjoy operatic highlights in a relaxed and social atmosphere.

Join the Towson University voice faculty quintet, quinTUs, (Lori Hulgren, Jessica Harika, Min Jin, Phillip Collister-Murray, and Esther Lee with Aaron Ziegel, guest) for an evening of ensemble love songs. The program includes Robert Schumann’s seldom performed Spanische Liebeslieder Op. 138 for four solo singers and four-hand piano. Additional works include selections from operas, musicals, and the American Songbook. Spring is in the air, and so is LOVE!

Join us on March 27, 2026 for an out-of-this-world experience at this year’s Play It Forward, Port Discovery’s signature fundraising gala that celebrates the importance of purposeful learning with play. This adults-only celebration will be filled with magic and wonder, featuring a seated dinner, dancing, and entertainment. We invite our wide network of supporters, advocates, and mission-aligned playmakers for a night in support of Port Discovery as a community learning hub, teaching museum, and educational playspace for all.

A brand new, full length puppetry spectacle, The Dream Show is an exploration of dreaming: of sleep, new horizons, and other ends of the world through the love story of Pierrot & the Moon. Giant mâché puppets, lullabies, marionettes, disembodied limbs searching for their homes, and textured landscapes create a dreamworld both tender and horrifying. Pierrot holds a mirror to the world of hunger and exploitation, and asks the question: why not steal, and why not strike? The show is intended for adult audiences, but can also be enjoyed by children who are not afraid of ghosts.
