Towson, MD., July 3rd, 2017 – Celebrating 41 years as one of the

region’s most respected children’s choruses, Children’s Chorus of

Maryland & School of Music (CCM) is now enrolling students ages 4 to 6

in their Crickets music & play program starting in September. No

audition or previous singing experience is necessary and interested

families are asked to sign up online at www.ccmsings.org. Parents who

would like more information on our program can contact the office at 410

494-1480 for a personal tour this summer.

Crickets is a fun, play-based music and movement class for boys and

girls ages 4 to 6. Trained teachers engage the body and the mind in

joyful music-making through musical games and movement. Offered by

Children’s Chorus of Maryland and School of Music (CCM), Crickets gently

encourages young children to explore the voice as their first true

instrument.

Under the direction of Artistic Director Susan Bialek, Children’s Chorus

of Maryland features highly qualified teachers, small classes and

in-depth vocal enrichment to provide children with a valuable musical

education and choral experience. CCM welcomes children who attend

public, private and parochial schools as well as those who are

homeschooled.

Classes are offered once a week on Saturdays for 50 minutes at CCM’s

Towson facility. There are three sessions available. The first session

runs for 10 weeks beginning on September 23rd, 2017, and the other two

sessions run for 12 weeks beginning in January 2018, start dates to be

determined. Fees are $200 for the 10 week program and $216 for the 12

week programs, which includes all materials.

Interested families can sign-up online at ccmsings.org. For additional

information call 410-494-1480.
