The Unfinished Revolution explores the turmoil of the United States’ emergence on the world stage between 1775 and 1815. The exhibition highlights two points that became certain—the country’s revolution remained unfinished, and Marylanders of many races and creeds were at the forefront of each conflict.
Admission is free for MCHC members.
Dear Educators and Parents,
I am putting together a community poetry project for kids. Adults can play along too.
For several years, I have run an annual poetry writing project. For one month, participants receive a daily writing prompt related to a theme. (In 2014 we wrote in response to Pantone paint colors; in 2019 the theme was Food). The goal is to write and share a newly drafted poem with the group every day. It’s a way of practicing writing with others.
Anchored by fantastical, handmade bedrooms created by three visionary artists as personal refuge, the American Visionary Art Museum explores the latest scientific research behind sleep as both force majeur to our total wellbeing and hypnagogic portal, enabling fresh revelations in science, art, and creative innovation of all sort.
Beginning March 23rd, our online schedule will reflect the live streaming options so that you can practice from home. Thank you for your support of your teachers and Baltimore Yoga Village at this time. We are pleased to serve you in this way.
In fall 2019, UMBC's Albin O. Kuhn Library Gallery presented Experimentalist: The Art of Robert W. Fichter, the first retrospective of the artist’s career in over thirty years. We are pleased now offer this exhibition in an online version, available here.

The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA) is proud to promote the exhibition at the Gallery in the Sky at the Top of the World Observation Level. Baltimore artist Lauren R. Lyde’s solo show, “The View from Here,” is on view through August 21, 2022. The foundation of the artwork is childhood and her “Dream Chaser” series. The imagery is a journey into childhood. It inspires a youthful appreciation and approach to life.
