Unmistakably Maryland Nutcracker Presented by MidAtlantic Youth Ballet
MidAtlantic Youth Ballet is once again proud to present its original, full-length adaptation of The Nutcracker featuring landmarks, icons, and culture unique to Maryland. Join in the revelry of the Preakness Party (scene), defeat the Hon Rats at the Battle of Baltimore, have Faith in the Snowflakes, and enjoy a stroll through other Baltimore sites. Unmistakably Maryland Nutcracker features over 100 local dancers, ranging in age from 4 to adult from dance programs and schools all over the Greater Baltimore area.
You Can See Me in the Dark
UMBC Theatre presents You Can See Me in the Dark, directed by Eve Muson, with musical direction by Andrew Mann. A wild ride of monologues, scenes and songs that celebrate the secrets we keep and the secrets we reveal. Performed by the company of actors in audition and business of acting, this year’s company of actors perform cutting edge work written by award-winning playwrights on the contemporary scene.

Columbia Orchestra: Romeo and Juliet
Shakespeare's tale of Romeo & Juliet with ancient rivalries and youthful passion inspired Prokofiev to pen one of his most dramatic and moving scores. Balancing the dark with the light, the amazing Holly Jenkins brings Tchaikovsky's lyrical and ebullient violin concerto to life. Inspired by the giant colorful figures carried in Brazilian parades, Clarice Assad's Bonecos de Olinda starts the program off with the thrill of a carnival!

Season for Psalms: Bernstein Chichester Psalms & More
The poetry of the Psalms evokes beauty, contemplation, and affirmation. For our Holiday Concert, we invite you to discover and delight in a selection of psalms by eight distinguished composers spanning 500 years of history. The oldest work on the program comes from the Renaissance: Giovanni Gabrieli’s most famous work, In Ecclecsiis, is a polychoral wonder. The youngest composer featured is 21st-century composer Cantor Ben Ellerin with a world premiere performance of his newest composition.

UMBC Percussion Ensemble
UMBC's Department of Music presents the UMBC Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Tom Goldstein.
The Percussion Ensemble is highly adventurous in its programming, with a repertoire that includes graphic-notation pieces, improvisational works and theater pieces, as well as works by important early percussion composers such as John Cage, Carlos Chavez, and Alan Hovhaness.

Join us on December 2 at 7p.m. at the Sollers Point Multipurpose Center in Dundalk, and then again on December 10 at 1p.m. at the Baltimore War Memorial!

UMBC Camerata Chamber Choir
UMBC's Department of Music presents the Camerata Chamber Choir under the direction of Kevin O’Brien. A small choral ensemble consisting of auditioned singers from across the university. Camerata performs a wide variety of works drawn from the expansive choral repertoire: including Renaissance motets and madrigals, folksongs, German part songs, Russian sacred liturgies, American spirituals, and new American concert works.
