John Crist is one of today’s fast-rising stand-up comedians, with more than one billion video views, over five million fans on social media and sold-out shows from coast to coast making Pollstar’s Top 100 Global Tours list in 2019 with over 197,000 tickets sold. Widely known for viral videos like “Honest Football Coach,” “Every Parent at Disney,” “Brands that need to be CANCELLED” plus hundreds more. John Crist has performed all over the world and in 2021 began his multi-city national theater tour called “Fresh Cuts” selling out theaters all over the United States.
Dance & Bmore’s Elder Arts Program is a creative space to share music, movement, and memories. This lively virtual jam gives senior citizens room to dance, talk, sing, share stories, and laughs.

The Magic of Science Fair and Family Festival 2024 will include a "carnival of science," which begins at 11 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. A regional science fair for middle school students will begin at 8 a.m. and culminate with an awards ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Submissions for the science fair must be received by May 6, 2024. The event will feature a day of interactive activities and exploration and offer activities for learners of all ages, from infants to adults.
In Boundless, Christine Lee Tyler and Sookkyung Park explore themes of mortality and human emotion. Tyler layers various media and patterns to create complex compositions evocative of nature while Park’s intricate paper sculptures are a nod to her Korean culture and background. Please join us for an exhibit reception, free and open to the public, on June 10 from 6-8pm.

Paint It! Ellicott City 2024 showcases artwork created by juried artists during our annual plein air paint-out in Ellicott City’s historic district. The juror for this year’s exhibit is Abigail McBride, who will offer remarks and present juror awards at the reception on June 10 from 6-8pm.

Mando for Kids promotes and teaches classical mandolin to young students in the Baltimore area - it’s the only program of its kind in the United States! It was started by a group within the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra and continues under the direction of Laura Norris, a Classical Mandolin Society fellow, member of the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra and Baltimore Mandolin Quartet.
