Antigone
A civil war has just ended, throwing the city into chaos and tearing families apart. Desperate to establish peace and order, the victorious leader, Creon, has issued strict new laws. But his niece, Antigone, resists these decrees for violating spiritual law and threatening her right to honor the dead. With lives, loves, and justice on the line, and two competing truths on a collision course, can the personal and the political co-exist?

Although they are from the heart of Ireland they are well known in the Irish/Celtic scene in the Tri-State area also and have electrified stages worldwide.

Since 1979, Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble has delighted audiences of all ages and cultures across North America and Europe. Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble is renowned for respecting the integrity of traditional music and dance while gaining recognition for them as performing art by creating well-staged and carefully crafted productions. In search of the origins and relatives of Southern Appalachian music and dance, Footworks performed throughout the 1980s and 90s at most of the major folk festivals across North America and the United Kingdom.
Columbia Orchestra
Dancers from Dance Connections, Inc. and narrator Greg Jukes join the Orchestra for Pirates & Princesses with music from Pirates of the Caribbean, Scheherazade, and more! Choose between the 10:30am or 1pm show and try your favorite instruments at the Musical Instrument Petting Zoo from 11:30-1:00. Children 17 and under are FREE! The Fantastic and The Innocent
The Octtava Piano Duo will explore Horowitz Center’s theme, Wonder, through the eyes of the nineteenth century poets and composers. You will experience the child-like tenderness of Bizet’s Children’s Games and the romantic ardor of Schubert’s Erlkönig and Fantasy.
Organist Christopher Creaghan in Concert
Christopher Creaghan, organist at the famed Riverside Church in New York City, will present a Tiffany Series concert. His program includes J.S. Bach's prestigious "Fantasia & Fugue in G minor," Calvin Hampton's "Fanfares," and McNeil Robinson's "Sonata." Of particular interest are Creaghan's organ transcriptions of two orchestral favorites: Gabriel Fauré's "Pavane" and M. Mussorgsky's "The Great Gate of Kiev," from Pictures at an Exhibition.
Celtic Woman
World famous all-female musical ensemble Celtic Woman gives a concert in our city! If you like Celtic folk, and classical crossover, this show is for you. Most recent girls' live album "Homecoming - Live From Ireland" was released in the beginning of 2018. Celtic Woman consists of Máiréad Carlin, Susan McFadden, Éabha McMahon, and Tara McNeill.

Winter is Here! A Game of Thrones Improv Comedy Extravaganza
LAST episodes ever of "Game of Thrones!!" There will be "Game of Thrones"-inspired improv, games, music and more at this comedy variety show. This show will be focusing on the penultimate episode of last season S7:E6 'Beyond the Wall'. Come 15 minutes early to compete in pre-show GOT trivia. You don't need to be a super fan to have fun - all "Game of Thrones" knowledge levels are welcome!

Audition for Children's Chorus of Maryland!

Celebration of the Arts in Howard County
Join us and Celebrate at Howard County's signature arts event! The evening begins with a sumptuous reception where you’ll sample culinary delights from area restaurants and bid on works of art by local artists while enjoying wonderful live musical performances. At 8 p.m. guests will be invited inside the Smith and Studio Theatres for the Rising Star Performing Arts Competition and the presentation of the 2018 Howie Awards. Performances and awards are presented live in the Smith Theatre ($100) and simulcast in the Studio Theatre ($50).
