Traveling from their home in Southern California, Jack & the Vox return to Baltimore for one night, on their way to the CT Ukulele Festival and then Europe! The husband-wife-duo, met at the Berklee College of Music in 1998 (where they both studied Songwriting), but only recently married in 2016. Victoria Vox, who was a Baltimore resident for 11 years, is an award-winning songwriter known for toting her ukulele around the world at festivals, clubs, and performing house concerts. Jack has childhood roots to St. Louis, but grew up in California since a young teen.
Mariah Bonner is a Baltimore born actress, singer and producer. She was classically trained at The Guildhall School of Music& Drama in London, and has appeared in films, television and theater productions in Los Angeles, London, Paris and New York. She is best known for her leading roles in John Hyams’ UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: DAY OF RECKONING and STARVE, directed by Griff Furst.
Television credits include CSI, Rules of Engagement, Switched at Birth and Scorpion.
The Jenny Wilson Trio will perform classic jazz with a modern twist at Germano's Piattini in Baltimore's historic Little Italy. The trio is a unique ensemble in that they are a family. Mother Jenny is the centerpiece of the group with her husband, bassist Nathan Wilson and her son, drummer Evan Lintz accompanying her jazz piano inventions and her warm and vocals. Her singing is often compared to that of Diana Krall who she counts as an important influence on her vocal style.
The Abbey Road Jazz Ensemble performs the Beatles catalogue in a whole new light. Based in Washington DC, ARJE is a quartet of talented jazz musicians who share a passion for the music of the Beatles. Tomar and the FCs is a soul band from Austin, TX. Tomar Williams got his start singing lead on the Chitlin Circuit with his family band. The band self recorded and released their first EP, “Day by Day” in 2015. The Austin American Statesman selected it as a top release and wrote that, “Williams shows his own soul chops with searing vocals that drip with blood, sweat and tears”. In 2016, NPR Music picked Tomar and the FCs out of hundreds of Austin entries to represent the city for their Tiny Desk Concert Series. “Heart Attack”, the band’s debut album, was released in late 2016.

From wedding cake to Amazing Grace, Baltimore-based artists Wickerham & Lomax create a wedding, funeral, and anniversary party inspired by moments of transformation as expressed in Generations: A History of Black Abstract Art. The new exhibition presents more than 70 monumental paintings and sculptures by generations of black artists who ignored the mandate to create works that had visibly ‘black’ content. Toast the legacy of these artists and Wickerham & Lomax (celebrating 10 years of collaborations!) during this memorable night.

Direct from the Bible (587 BC books of Jeremiah & Daniel), Nabucco is the story of a leader (King of Babylon - Nebuchadnezzar) who declares himself to be above the laws of God & Man. Nabucco reveals a love that crosses religious/racial boundaries, faces political lies, manipulations for power, enslavement of the Jews (minorities) and God's final judgement and justice. Currently a local presence in the New Orleans music scene, Geovane Santos, a native Brazilian from the city of Belo Horizonte, is a guitarist, composer, arranger, vocalist, educator, and awardee of the 2017 Louis Armstrong Foundation Jazz Composer Award through ASCAP in association with the University of New Orleans (UNO).
