Party like it’s 1599! Join fellow Shakespeare fans for an evening of Elizabethan delights. Enjoy themed food and drink, carnivalesque entertainment, and silent auction while celebrating the inauguration of BSF’s one-of-a-kind early modern stage in the heart of Hampden. Traveling from their home in Southern California, Jack & the Vox return to Baltimore for one night, on their way to the CT Ukulele Festival and then Europe! The husband-wife-duo, met at the Berklee College of Music in 1998 (where they both studied Songwriting), but only recently married in 2016. Victoria Vox, who was a Baltimore resident for 11 years, is an award-winning songwriter known for toting her ukulele around the world at festivals, clubs, and performing house concerts. Jack has childhood roots to St. Louis, but grew up in California since a young teen.
Mariah Bonner is a Baltimore born actress, singer and producer. She was classically trained at The Guildhall School of Music& Drama in London, and has appeared in films, television and theater productions in Los Angeles, London, Paris and New York. She is best known for her leading roles in John Hyams’ UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: DAY OF RECKONING and STARVE, directed by Griff Furst.
Television credits include CSI, Rules of Engagement, Switched at Birth and Scorpion.
The Jenny Wilson Trio will perform classic jazz with a modern twist at Germano's Piattini in Baltimore's historic Little Italy. The trio is a unique ensemble in that they are a family. Mother Jenny is the centerpiece of the group with her husband, bassist Nathan Wilson and her son, drummer Evan Lintz accompanying her jazz piano inventions and her warm and vocals. Her singing is often compared to that of Diana Krall who she counts as an important influence on her vocal style.
The Abbey Road Jazz Ensemble performs the Beatles catalogue in a whole new light. Based in Washington DC, ARJE is a quartet of talented jazz musicians who share a passion for the music of the Beatles. If you love jazz and you love The Beatles (McCartney-Lennon-Harrison) then of course you will LOVE The Abbey Road Jazz Ensemble!

Nabucco reveals a love that crosses religious/racial boundaries, faces political lies, manipulations for power, enslavement of the Jews (minorities) and God's final judgement and justice. October, 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the great jazz drummer Art Blakey. Noted New York be-bop guitarist Joshua Breakstone will be touring throughout the US from September-November in support of the October release of his new recording on Capri Records, “Children of Art”, a tribute to Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers.
Annapolis-based act Kings of Crownsville are a roots Rock band with a New Orleans flavor. The brainchild of New Orleans-raised guitarist/singer/songwriterSteve Johnson, the Kings play a rollicking, entertaining set that stirs Americana, Blues, and Jazz into the mix.
Their signature horn section transports listeners to the streets of the Big Easy, while they also add precise three- and four-part harmonies to their musical gumbo. Think Louis Armstrong meets Steely Dan.
