Rapid Lemon Productions will close their 11th season with an evening of 12 world premiere short plays by local authors, Variations on Change. Staged each year since 2005, The Variations Project is an annual highlight of the Baltimore theatrical calendar. Audiences who attend in person will have the opportunity to vote to select the theme for the 2023 Variations Project.
Our opening concert on September 30 at 7:30 features the 2022-2023 Ensemble-in-Residence at St. David’s, the Bergamot Quartet, with works by Caroline Shaw, Helmut Lachenmann, and more. Learn more about Bergamot at <bergamotquartet.com>.
The concert is free and open to all. Donations directly support the musicians and music series. Masks are recommended.

Poe Baltimore will host the fifth annual International Edgar Allan Poe Festival and Awards (Poe Fest International) with IN-PERSON and virtual events, October 8th- 9th, 2022, featuring vendors, performances, tours, and The Black Cat Ball. This year’s events commemorate the 173rd anniversary of Edgar Allan Poe’s death.*
Indigenous Peoples Day is commemorated with a musical offering featuring choral music of Charles Shadle, Choctaw Nation, and Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate, Chickasaw Nation.
The event is free and occurs at St. David's Episcopal Church, 4700 Roland Avenue, Baltimore, MD. Doors open at 4:00 pm. Masks are encouraged.

Celebrate Baltimore’s Charles North (a.k.a. Station North) neighborhood’s constantly evolving identities as a Koreatown, arts district, and creative hub.
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra introduces BSO Sessions – a new digital concert series that follows the BSO’s journey in bringing inspirational works of orchestral repertoire to life as its musicians return to the stage. Programs will include beloved masterpieces; music by living composers and composers of color; and hidden treasures in orchestral repertoire, with episodes premiering October 14 at 8 pm and released weekly thereafter.
