The 27th annual Celebration of the Arts will be held at the Horowitz Visual & Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 6-10pm. The Celebration is the Howard County Arts Council's annual fundraiser that supports our efforts to foster the arts in Howard County.

Full Circle Dance company presents new and repertoire works that explore not only physical strength and energy, but also social, political, and historical power. The show will include the premieres of several new works commissioned in 2024. Collaborations with local designers and musical artists will make “From the Source of Our Power” a true celebration of Baltimore-based interdisciplinary innovation.
Baltimore Choral Arts opens the 2024-25 season by connecting to our past in our first subscription concert, Sacred Heritage, pairing a unique selection of Benjamin Britten’s choral works with the iconic and retrospective Duruflé Requiem. We will be joined by the students of our CoroLAB program for a performance of See Me by Reena Esmail.

Mando for Kids promotes and teaches classical mandolin to young students in the Baltimore area - it’s the only program of its kind in the United States! It was started by a group within the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra and continues under the direction of Laura Norris, a Classical Mandolin Society fellow, member of the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra and Baltimore Mandolin Quartet.
