The Howard County Arts Council's annual gala has gone virtual for 2020! The virtual event will include a screening of our popular Rising Star Performing Arts Competition, presentation of the Howie Awards, and an online art auction. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite performing artist while chatting online with friends & Rising Star finalists, and the performance and voting will be available on demand through Sunday, August 30. All guests will also have the option to choose a food voucher to a participating restaurant

Rosa Sung Ji Chang, a Korean-born interdisciplinary artist leads a virtual workshop exploring her natural dye practices. Learn how to use natural indigo dye and soy flour paste for pattern-making on fabric.
