Every spring for the past few years, Make Studio artists have been invited to come “up county”, to show their work in special exhibitions highlighting inclusion, creativity, and community in the beautiful public spaces of Baltimore County Public Library's Hereford Branch. Several of our artists have also developed and presented popular mixed media workshops to groups in the library’s The Hive makerspace.
Launching on Wednesday, May 27 at 7 pm, WTMD will air weekly performances from the BSO Pulse series, which frequently sold out the 2,400-capacity Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore. The performances can be heard on 89.7 FM or streamed live through WTMD's website WTMD.org/radio, the WTMD app and smart speakers.

Online conversations every Thursday at noon starting May 14
Our world is shifting rapidly. We need to shift.
We at Artists U want to work through these shifts together. We want to build positive, rigorous conversations about surviving and thriving during and beyond this time of uncertainty.
Artists have much to contribute at this moment of crisis. By stabilizing our lives, we can activate our skills as artists to create things in our community and our world: new art, structures, connections, and futures.
Join mindfulness meditation teacher Phillip McKnight as he guides us in a weekly basic mindfulness practice on Facebook live!
Phillip is generously donating his time to lead these free sessions. If you would like to show him some love, you may send donations to his PayPal at [email protected]. Phillip has pledged half of all donations to go to Creative Alliance!

STAR TRACK staff will be in the comments of the stream and on standby in our direct messages for questions about resources and linkage to care.
"We are in an extraordinary time period of planetary history. The current pandemic and the exposure of systemic racism via the innocent killing of an African-American man by police has created some very challenging and adverse conditions world-wide. I am extremely optimistic because for the first time the entire world is rising up to protest systemic racism in all its various forms and manifestations. Music is overwhelmingly vital as a healing force for the universe.
