Old Glory DC, the only professional rugby team in the DMV, will face off against Anthem Rugby Carolina on June 1st at 7:00 p.m. EST at the Maryland SoccerPlex, a uniquely intimate venue offering every attendee an up-close seat to the heart-pumping action of professional rugby. The clash against Anthem RC will be the first of the team’s final three home games of the regular 2024 Major League Rugby season and will also celebrate Pride Night with a special curtain raiser match featuring two International Gay Rugby Union teams.

The Magic of Science Fair and Family Festival 2024 will include a "carnival of science," which begins at 11 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. A regional science fair for middle school students will begin at 8 a.m. and culminate with an awards ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Submissions for the science fair must be received by May 6, 2024. The event will feature a day of interactive activities and exploration and offer activities for learners of all ages, from infants to adults.
Maryland Fleet Week & Flyover Baltimore presented by Northrop Grumman, is a week-long celebration that brings together "Fleet, Flights, and Festivals" from June 12-18, 2024. This event honors the dedication of service members who defend our freedoms at sea and in the air, both past and present. It offers a chance for the public to board contemporary naval ships to see sailors' work up close and to explore historical vessels, providing a window into naval life across history.

Brass Queens is a 10-piece brass band whose sound is deeply inspired by the music of New Orleans mixed with the flair of modern pop. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, the Brass Queens features an all-female horn section with the goal of expanding the space for women in a male-dominated industry. Brass Queens has performed at the 2021 Met Gala, on Good Morning America, multiple appearances at Governor's Ball Music Festival and Exit Zero Jazz Festival.
