Old Glory DC, the only professional rugby team in the DMV, will face off against Anthem Rugby Carolina on June 1st at 7:00 p.m. EST at the Maryland SoccerPlex, a uniquely intimate venue offering every attendee an up-close seat to the heart-pumping action of professional rugby. The clash against Anthem RC will be the first of the team’s final three home games of the regular 2024 Major League Rugby season and will also celebrate Pride Night with a special curtain raiser match featuring two International Gay Rugby Union teams. Old Glory’s 2024 roster features players from 11 different countries, including young stars and returning favorites. Old Glory traditions this season include a “Raise the Flags” ceremony, color guard performances, and themed nights at all home matches including Pride Night (June 1st), Military Appreciation Night (June 8th), and Fan Appreciation Night (June 29th).
