Recital and Evensong for Indigenous Peoples Day
On Sunday, October 13 at 4:30 pm, St. David's Baltimore commemorates Indigenous Peoples Day with a recital of guitar music followed by the service of Choral Evensong.
Join the Choir of St. David’s on Sunday, October 13 for an Evensong commemorating Indigenous Peoples Day. The event begins at 4:30 pm with a recital by Choctaw guitarist Alexander Lassa performing portions of Choctaw composer Charles Shadle's "Wheelock Variations," based on Choctaw Hymns, followed by The Service of Evensong including music of Andrew Balfour (Cree) and Connor Chee (Diné).
The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 4:00 pm. A suggested donation of $10-$20 directly benefits the musicians and the music series.
