Elf The Dance Musical
Join us this Holiday Season for a dance-filled musical presentation of Elf! Join Buddy, Santa, and all of their Elf friends for a joyful celebration of the Holiday Season! This is an interactive performance during which the audience interacts with the performers on stage during the performance.

Harford Choral Society presents GLORY OF THE SEASON
The singers present a holiday concert that includes Lo, How a Rose, Pinkham’s Christmas Cantata featuring a brass ensemble and organ, Elgar’s Snow, Stroope’s Winter, and Lauridsen’s Like Snow. Since this is our 70th season, we will remember our beginnings and present favorite selections from Handel’s Messiah.

The Dinner Detective Comedy Mystery Dinner Show
America’s largest interactive comedy mystery dinner theatre show is now playing in Baltimore! Solve a hilarious mystery while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Just beware! The culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a Prime Suspect before you know it!
Join us for an event that is very different from a traditional mystery dinner show. Our actors are not dressed in costume and are hidden in the audience! This results in a fun, social and interactive evening suitable for all adults.
THE NUTCRACKER
This holiday season, Ballet Theatre of Maryland will present The Nutcracker in Annapolis, Hampstead, and Westminster, MD. This yearly tradition from Maryland’s premier ballet company will delight audiences with its whimsical story,
entertaining characters, and festive sets and costumes. In addition to offering performances at
two new venues this season, BTM will once again hold a Sugar Plum Party before every Sunday
performance.

Contemporary music ensemble, Mind on Fire, brings you an electric evening of live, experimental chamber orchestra music paired with performance art interludes. Taking place across different spaces in Le Mondo, the night features 3 pieces from composers Sky Macklay, Tariq Ravelomanana (Infinity Knives), and Alex Vaughan, as well as performances from The Arm (music), LaTeisha Melvin (dance), and Rohan Pathare (video projection/live performance).

MCHC Muppet Matinee: The Muppet Christmas Carol
Enjoy a Sunday afternoon drop-in art-making and movie screening of The Muppet Christmas Carol at MCHC. Former Muppet Workshop manager Peter MacKennan shares stories about the creation of the film’s puppets and costumes, and answers your questions about the movie’s special effects. This program is suitable for all ages. We’ll provide the popcorn!

The First & Franklin Sanctuary Choir, directed by Jason Kissel, will present their annual Candlelight Choral Concert. This yearly tradition celebrates the holiday season with choral music including Vivaldi's Gloria with Baroque ensemble and carols. We also welcome gifted harpist and friend of the choir Jacqueline Pollauf. Join us in the glow of the candlelight to revel in music, beauty, and the joy of Christmas.

After the tours of their respective projects were waylaid by the pandemic, Baltimore-based folk musicians Laura Wortman and Letitia VanSant each found solace in the woods, Laura hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains and Letitia exploring the nooks and crannies of Herring Run Park. In the midst of both societal heartbreak and personal grief, they started writing songs that felt medicinal to sing and play. As friends who enjoyed harmonizing together, they decided to cozy up and record an album.

Perhaps the best loved holiday story of all time our adaptation of Dickens’ classic is particularly suited to children and features a magnificent score by Jule Styne the composer of Broadway’s immortal Peter Pan, Gypsy, and Funny Girl. All the joy sentiment and meaning are here without being too scary for young audiences.

The new Peabody Jazz Combos series spotlights student performances of jazz classics and original compositions under the direction of Peabody’s all-star jazz faculty, including Warren Wolf, Charenée Wade and Sean Jones, the Richard and Elizabeth Case Chair of Jazz.
This evening's performance will be under the direction of four faculty members Richard Johnson, Charenée Wade, Nasar Abadey and Fran Vielma.
