Get ready to be swept away by excerpts of this reimagined version of The Nutcracker, choreographed by Amy Hall Garner and set in the Baltimore neighborhood of Mount Vernon, featuring inspiration from many of our iconic community landmarks such as The Walters Art Museum, Restaurante Tio Pepe, and even the Fireworks from the Monument Lighting! Dancers from the Baltimore School for the Arts will be front and center as they perform to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score and bring the magic all around us to the stage!

The course will provide an overview of the Standards for Excellence 67 performance indicators and give participants an opportunity to assess their own organizations.

Warm up at MCHC during the historic Washington Monument lighting! Organized by the Mount Vernon Place Conservancy, this annual tradition has taken place in Baltimore since 1971.

Zekes’ Coffee Shop and Maryland Art Place (MAP) are pleased to present Generation: Crit II, an exhibition featuring artworks from a local Maryland Art Crit Group, The Salonistas: Loose Threads. The Salonistas is a tapestry of friends with individual art practices whose unifying thread is to connect with one another and gain inspiration and insight into their work through feedback. This group includes accomplished artists who have won grants and awards and exhibited both nationally and internationally.
Christmas Village is a family event! To embrace our love for the families of Charm City, we planned an entire day loaded with kids' activities from Potato Sack Races and Cornhole to Egg and Spoon Races.
