The Maryland Center for the Arts proudly announces the Third Annual Series of Master Classes for elementary through high school students with members of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and special guests. In partnership with BSO violist Peter Minkler and Joe Noto's Music Land, the classes are held on Saturday mornings, 11am - 1pm, at Music Land, Bel Air.
We are delighted to announce "Sing the Truth": A Master Class with Barbara Fasano and Eric Comstock to be held at Germano's on Saturday, October 27th,11:30am-4:30pm. There are slots for 8 singers and 12 observers. Each singer will have an opportunity to work with Eric and Barbara for 30 minutes. During this time, you will have an opportunity to present one or more songs and they will provide you with specific guidance and suggestions for improving your performance.
Programming for the Cordially Invited exhibition features an inclusive mixed media workshop where participants respond to artworks in Cordially Invited followed by an educational panel discussion about representation and ability/disability in the arts community. Current panelists include George Ciscle, Maxine Taylor (MAXgallery), and Joy Davis (Waller Gallery). This will take place on Saturday, October 27th from 1-3pm (workshop) and 3-5pm (panel).

Join Lexington Market and Local Merchants for our 4th annual Trick or Treat in the Market. The nearly century old tradition of Trick or Treating will be brought inside the Arcade and East Market from 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2018. There will be festive activities such as Pumpkin Decorating (while supplies last) and crafts as well as interactive cooking demos with Chef Egg, who will be serving up some spooky and delicious treats.
