The bond they have outside of music is Mt. St. Joseph High School in Baltimore. It was during their high school years that they first performed together. Now, more than forty years later, their sound is unique, exciting, and smooth. Their take on classic pop music is often unpredictable. Their secret weapon is the mandolin!
While they each went into different careers, a doctor, an attorney and a broadcaster, they have always found time to regroup to create musical memories for their faithful following.
The JMM brings you another exciting culinary championship! This year we take inspiration from both the seasons and Jewish culinary tradition. As the days grow shorter and the weather becomes colder, no food is more comforting than a great bake. From mandelbrot to bagels, and challah to rye we all have a favorite, almost all of which are improved with a generous schmeer of cream cheese or butter. This year we celebrate those bakes that are often, but not always, improved with a schmeer of something delicious or as we have named them schmeerables.

Cline of the George Washington University explores why the Bronze Age ended and whether the collapse of those ancient civilizations might hold some warnings for our current society. A reception will follow the talk. This program is generously supported by the Boshell Foundation.

From Mozart’s dignified Gloria and Stephen Schwarz’s glowing Channukah to the mildly insane silliness of The Daniel Jazz (via Bernard Walston’s bleak city streets and a pop/German chorale collision in the rose garden), we show how faith and joy can come from the most unexpected directions. In the dark sky of winter, as we sing today, we can all be lights!
