Maestro T. Herbert Dimmock leads the Bach in Baltimore Choir and Orchestra and two choirs from our Student Exchange Program are joined by soprano, alto, tenor, and bass soloists in one of the greatest choral works ever composed: Handel Israel in Egypt. With over 100 musicians on stage, experience the epic story of the Israelites exodus from Egypt.
The first of 2 concerts in the 17th annual "Bach at St. Bartholomew's" series. Performed by Theo. S. (Ted) Davis, this concert features a joyous and flair-filled sampling of Partitas for organ and harpsichord. Join us for wine and an informal lecture 15 minutes before the concert. Freewill offerings benefit the music events series at St. Bartholomew's and the parish outreach program fund.

QWANQWA uncovers lesser known traditional sounds from East Africa regions of Ethiopia and beyond—a trance-like chant of the Eritrean tribe of Blen, a psychedelic Somalian cover, an extended Amhara wedding medley, a Mahmoud Ahmed sing-a-long. With Selamnesh Zemene, the Azmari diva powerhouse, at the helm, QWANQWA is a conversation of virtuosos through tight arrangements and extended experimental moments.
Pulitzer Prize Winner Katori Hall’s work returns to our stage with her award-winning play, The Hot Wing King, in which Memphis, Tennessee’s annual Hot Wang Festival is quickly approaching, and Cordell Crutchfield is determined to be crowned king of the wings. With support from The New Wing Order, made up of his partner Dwayne and his friends Isom & Big Charles, victory seems inevitable. However, Cordell soon finds himself preparing for the festival while caring for his teenage nephew who moves in after a family tragedy.

McDaniel College students perform vocal and piano solos, under the direction of Music faculty members Rachel Andrews, Kyle Engler, and Waka Osifchin.
Grab your friends and party the Irish way, at a traditional ceili! Kick off the Irish Trad Fest with social dances as the area’s finest Irish traditional music plays from the stage, and enjoy a great community experience!
Basic footwork will be taught until enough folks are there to have the first dance. The footwork is not necessary to dance, so arriving late is no problem. Ceili band is pick-up, so any Irish musicians who come with their instruments are welcome to play with the band as space allows! No experience is necessary.
Get ready for a true variety comedy show that is sure to get you laughing, clapping, out of your seat, and possibly on stage yourself! Blue Cavell-Allette, Desi Rawlerson, and Tashika Campbell are your hosts and producers, and your party MCs - there will be music, jokes, comedy games, interviews, sitcom tropes, audience participation, and non-stop laughs.
