Plan to get healthy while participating in a mix of fun activities that support wellness for the body and soul. Activities include funky dance fitness sessions, yoga, food demos, health talks, kids’ wellness activities, the hip hop film: Feel Rich: Health Is the New Wealth, and a children's reading by Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh. Programming for the Cordially Invited exhibition features an inclusive mixed media workshop where participants respond to artworks in Cordially Invited followed by an educational panel discussion about representation and ability/disability in the arts community. Current panelists include George Ciscle, Maxine Taylor (MAXgallery), and Joy Davis (Waller Gallery). This will take place on Saturday, October 27th from 1-3pm (workshop) and 3-5pm (panel).
Join Lexington Market and Local Merchants for our 4th annual Trick or Treat in the Market. The nearly century old tradition of Trick or Treating will be brought inside the Arcade and East Market from 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2018. There will be festive activities such as Pumpkin Decorating (while supplies last) and crafts as well as interactive cooking demos with Chef Egg, who will be serving up some spooky and delicious treats. Also, enjoy a live magic show and balloon making by John Carrington.

Some may be surprised to learn that most bees do not live in hives; each has its own solitary nest. Solitary bees are are not aggressive and rarely if ever sting unless attacked or stepped upon, and even then their stings are not painful compared to honeybees.
Azure Family Concerts are designed specifically for people with autism and similar challenges. Families can enjoy music in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Our motto is: “All Behaviors Welcome!” The concert will feature the Peabody String Sinfonia, a conductorless string ensemble from the Peabody Conservatory of Music, praised for their “exhilarating performances” and “sense of pure joy.” The ensemble will share the warmth and beauty of musical masterpieces for strings in a fun and interactive concert. Admission is free, but tickets are required.
