Join the artists of Baltimore Musicales for the premiere of this virtual program featuring Jarrod Lee, Adrienne Ivey, Justin Harrison, Angeli Ferrette, Nigel Rowe, Dana Kristina-Joi Morgan, and Jasmine Barnes. Do you know a child who loves to sing? We will be auditioning children ages 5 ½ and up who are interested in an exciting choral program. CCM features highly qualified teachers, small classes & in-depth vocal enrichment, providing a complete musical education and choral experience. Previous singing experience is not necessary! Auditions will be scheduled throughout the summer.
Music at the Mansion is thrilled to welcome Danielia Cotton for her first show at the Liriodendron Mansion! The concert will be held outdoors on our beautiful grounds, with plenty of room for social distancing.

Instead of working with the policies and system we have in place, Kendi asks us to think about what an antiracist society might look like, and how we can play an active role in building it.

This month, Maryland Humanities’ living history series goes virtual as the organization raises the voices of four notable women who took action to secure their right to vote. Sherrie Tolliver brings Mary Church Terrell (1863–1954) to life. Born in Tennessee to two formerly enslaved business owners, Terrell helped to found the National Association for Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the National Association for Colored Women’s Clubs (NACWC). She worked with the National Women’s Party in picketing at the White House in support of women’s suffrage.
