2024 Arts & Drafts Summer Music & Arts Festival
Baltimore County’s premier cultural event is back to kick off summer! Rain or shine, 7,000+ people are expected to gather for this free two-day festival presented by the nonprofit Baltimore County Arts Guild (BCAG) and featuring curated artist vendors, live music, fun activities for all ages, and specialty food & beers from host sponsor, Guinness Open Gate Brewery.

Market Center Streetfest

Formed in 2018, Gilsons continue the musical legacy of their father and grandfather, Gilberto Gil, a leading artist in the Tropicália movement of 1960s Brazil. Gilsons is the musical partnership of Francisco, João, and José Gil, a leading band of the new Brazilian popular music (MPB), blending influences of pop rock, samba, reggae, and Bahian rhythms alongside the sounds of classic MPB.

House of Ruth Maryland Crabaret
The 22nd Annual House of Ruth Maryland Crabaret will take place on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Gertrude’s at The Baltimore Museum of Art Sculpture Garden.
Crabaret is one of the highlights of the summer season. Held at Gertrude’s in the Sculpture Garden of the BMA, guests enjoy live music, drinks, and crab dishes prepared by nationally renowned chef, John Shields, while watching the sun set over Baltimore.

Fundamentals of Musical Improv - Weekend Intensive
Do you love to sing? Do you love to make up stories? Do you love to joke around with friends? Take any or all of those budding interests to the next level with this musical improv intensive!
Prerequisites: none
Recommended: either improv 101 OR some music performance experience
In just two days, you’ll learn all the major concepts you need to successfully perform on a musical improv team: song structure, musicality, improv content, scene-into-song, and a narrative format (Fairy Tale).
