Join the Market Center Community Development Corporation (MCCDC) and Lexington Market on June 29th from 12- 8 pm at the Lexington Market Plaza and along the 200-500 blocks of W. Lexington Street, for a day of celebration, creativity, and community at the first-ever Market Center Street Festival! The inaugural Market Center Street Festival will showcase the best of Baltimore’s Market Center neighborhood and the Bromo Arts and Entertainment District. The Market Center Street Festival promises a day filled with excitement and community spirit, featuring an array of food vendors, artists, makers, and local fashion. Lexington Market will extend its hours for the festival (6am to at least 8pm), ensuring that visitors can enjoy all the festivities from morning until night. The Lexington Market Plaza will transform into a lively concert stage and outdoor bar, hosting a stellar lineup of local bands, DJs, and artist performances curated by the Market Center community. Music lovers can look forward to non-stop entertainment from 12 PM to 8 PM. In addition to the musical performances, the festival will feature a diverse range of artists, makers, and fashion vendors both at the Plaza and down Lexington Street. The 300-400 blocks of Lexington Street will host additional local vendors and food trucks, offering a delightful array of culinary delights and unique goods. Community support is at the heart of this event, with participation from the Market Center Community Development Corporation, the Market Center Merchants Association, Baltimore Public Markets Corporation, Bromo Arts and Entertainment District, and the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore. This collaboration across the organizations working towards making the neighborhood surrounding Lexington Market safe and vibrant underscores the commitment to fostering local talent, celebrating the arts, and strengthening community ties.
