Highlandtown First Friday Art Walk
It’s time to CELEBRATE at the final First Friday Art Walk in Highlandtown with parties, pop-ups, shopping, and Santa! Start at the Holiday Night Market and don’t miss the Tree Lighting with FREE photos with Santa. Women of the Book: The Spiritual Lives of Early Modern Women, 1450-1800
In 2017 the Johns Hopkins Sheridan Libraries began building the world’s most comprehensive collection of rare books, manuscripts, and ephemera detailing the experiences of early modern women from the Renaissance to the Enlightenment.
Candy Lane: Artmageddon with The Black Genius Art Show
Artists and art-lovers, this one is for you. If you’ve never witnessed an Artmageddon event, hosted by The Black Genius Art Show, you’re in for a sweet treat! On the seventh day of Candy Lane, head to Center Plaza and join us for a live battle between artists, where topics are picked by the audience and the best pieces are voted on by YOU! This free event is hosted by Bryan Robinson and The Black Genius Art Show.
Poetry Open Mic with Patti Ross
A Poetry and Prose open mic hosted by Patti Ross aka little pi each third Thursday of the month starting August. The open mic is for community wordsmiths to share their work and love for language and performance. There will be a sign in sheet at the door 15 minutes before start. Each reader will have five minutes to share their work. The evening lasts from 6pm to 7:30pm. Every other month you can expect a featured reader/performance artist!
